[1] First Day At MacMillan High

Serena's POV

'I have finally made it. I can't believe I am actually going to be a part of MacMillan High for the next two years.' were my thoughts when I entered the huge white building.

I, Serena Blue, always know what I want. Back in middle school, my parents promised me that they would get me a Dior perfume, along with Louboutin heels if I get admission in MacMillan High, one of the finest highschool in town. Thus, I had to work my ass off. I studied so hard that I easily got into MacMillan High, before any of my friends could.

Also, I'm super happy my BFF, my partner in crime, my pookie, my soulsis, Chrissy got here as well.

Christina Bells, aka Chrissy, has been my top G from day 1 in kindergarten. She's a 5'8, blonde, absolutely stunning, barbie-like girl with freckles so perfect that I'd date her so bad if I weren't straight. Her father's a cardiologist in the best hospital of our area, and her mother and mine work in the same office, as a result of which we often spent time at each other's during our childhood, when our parents went to work. My father works as a chef in a restaurant nearby.

Chrissy and I went to the same kindergarten, junior school, middle school and now, thankfully, to the same highschool. We spend most of our time hanging out with each other. I'm so grateful to have found her as my BFF, and I can't imagine a day not yapping to her about my life (and I'm sure, neither can't she).

I went to my assigned locker and kept my stuff inside, my eyes constantly searching for Chrissy.

"I'm here, gurllll!!", Chrissy came running to me, when she found me in the corridor. We immediately hugged each other and went on to our class. We didn't have our first period together and after making small, sad, pouty faces to each other, she went on to her French class and I went on to my English one.

My excitement was so high that I suddenly bumped onto someone and all my stuff fell down.

"I'm so sorry, let me help you pick it up", the tall guy said, bending down to help when I immediately recognised his deep, irritating voice.

Ryan fucking Lawrence.

"What the fuck are you doing here?", the words slipped my mouth louder than I wanted it to and I noticed some students turning to look at us.

Ryan Lawrence, my arch nemesis in middle school, who I couldn't stand at all. He was a favourite of everyone in middle school (ofcourse except mine). They awarded him an "Multi Talented Student" prize for being the best footballer of our school team and also for scoring the maximum marks in our finals. Honestly, I don't think he should've gotten that award just because he could dribble the football and could do some so-called "bicycle kick" shots. Even I could do it. Duh!

Moreover, I often heard girls whispering how they found him irresistibly hot. I mean, Ryan? Hot? Ew. I'd rather choke on my own vomit than admit he's hot.

Coming back, Ryan was equally shocked to see me there. His eyes widened in surprise and he opened his mouth to probably ask me the same thing I asked him, when a guy came to Ryan and told him, "C'mon buddy, class is about to start." and the guy walked past him, after Ryan gestured to him that he was about to follow.

"You studying at MacMillan High?? Oh God, had I known earlier, I would not have taken admission here." I lied because who the fuck cares about Ryan when I care about my career and my life more!

"Firstly, how the fuck did you get here, Serena? I thought you were failing classes in middle school." He slightly smirked when saying the last words.

That motherfucker always knew how to get under my skin.

"It's my damn business and not yours." I almost burst out. "Now, just move aside and let me go to my class." I pushed him aside and went on to the class.
